IKEA MALAYSIA DURIAN DESSERT FESTIVAL 2019 | IKEA Malaysia will have Durian Desserts including Musang King Frappe from June 10 onwards.

Now that the season of the King of Fruits is officially underway, IKEA Malaysia is holding a Durian Dessert Festival across its eateries for the very first time.

Starting from 10 June to 31 July, all IKEA outlets in Malaysia will be serving desserts inspired by the king of fruits at their restaurants as part of their Durian Dessert Festival to welcome the durian season.

Locals who can never get enough of the king of fruits should mark their calendars and cross the border. We’ve fallen for IKEA’s meatballs, but this time, durians will front their kitchen’s offerings.

Musang King frappe, durian tart & cream puffs

IKEA Malaysia’s menu features 3 delicious durian desserts that already have us grabbing our wallets.

Here are some of the durian treats you will find there.

Durian Tart 

Priced at RM6.50 each, durian tarts are available at all IKEA Bistros (a.k.a. where you get your ice cream and curry puffs).

Durian Cake

Priced at RM9.90 per slice, durian cakes are sold at all IKEA Restaurants.

Durian Puff 

Priced at RM5.90 per pop, durian puffs are sold at all IKEA Restaurants.

Musang King Frappe 

Priced at RM9.90 per cup, BUT Musang King Frappe is only available at IKEA Cafés in IKEA Mutiara Damansara and Cheras.

IKEA’s Durian Dessert Festival runs from Tuesday (10 Jun) until 31 July.
