YOUNG BUILDERS CROWNED CHAMPIONS AT LEGOLAND® SCHOOL CHALLENGE 2026. School Teams Shine in Asia’s Largest Interschool Lego® Building Competition. Young builders from Malaysia and the Philippines emerged as champions at the LEGOLAND® School Challenge 2026, the fifth edition of Asia’s largest interschool LEGO® building competition, organised in partnership with Malaysia’s Ministry of Education.

Puteri Mini Makers from SK Cyberjaya, Selangor, were crowned Junior Category champions, while The Mavericks from SK Kubang Kerian 3, Kelantan, took the Primary Category title. In the Secondary Category, AJHS BluBLOC from Ateneo de Manila Junior High School, Philippines, emerged victorious.

Competition at a Regional Scale

Now in its fifth year, the Challenge saw 15 outstanding teams advance to the Grand Finale from 451 submissions across three age categories, bringing together young builders from six countries - Malaysia, India, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and China - under the theme ‘The Ultimate Theme Park Ride’, showcasing their creativity, imagination and technical skills.

Anchored in LEGO’s DNA of learning through play, the Challenge gives students a way to explore STEAM concepts, build confidence, and express creativity while developing skills in teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking.

Unforgettable Prizes & Recognition

This year, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has once again partnered with global one-stop travel platform Trip.com to reward the competition’s best builders. The Primary and Secondary Category champions will embark on an incredible trip to LEGOLAND® Shanghai, while the Junior Category champion will win a trip to LEGOLAND® Malaysia, with curated travel arrangements and experiences to make their journeys seamless.

All category champions will also receive a LEGOLAND Malaysia Annual Pass, an iconic LEGO® trophy, LEGO sets for each team member and a Certificate of Achievement, recognising their creativity, teamwork and achievements throughout the competition.

Finalists’ creations will be on display at MINILAND, LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort until December 2026, giving park guests a closer look at the creativity and imagination behind this year’s standout builds.

3rd Place: Alpha Builders, SK Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

4th Place: Sparkling Starlets, SK Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

5th Place: CyberSparks, Sekolah Kebangsaan Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Primary Category (Ages 10–12):

Champion: The Mavericks, SK Kubang Kerian 3, Kelantan, Malaysia

2nd Place: SKI LEGO BRIGADE, SK Ibrahim, Kedah, Malaysia

3rd Place: 67 BRICKS, SK Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

4th Place: Brick Titan, SK Medini, Johor, Malaysia

5th Place: AQUA RIDERS, Temple Hill International School, Philippines

Secondary Category (Ages 13–17):

Champion: AJHS BluBLOC, Ateneo de Manila Junior High School, Philippines

2nd Place: KING OF LEGO, Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah, Putrajaya, Malaysia

3rd Place: Four Blocks Ahead, SM SetiaBudi, Selangor, Malaysia

4th Place: PUTERA ARMYCORP, Maktab Tentera Diraja, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
